Dawn C. Sequeira selected as Vice Chair of the Immigration and Human Rights Committee of the International Law Section of The District of Columbia Bar.

Dawn C. Sequeira is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Legacy Immigration which was founded in 2015.  Legacy Immigration focuses exclusively on complex immigration matters.  Ms. Sequeira, a first-generation American of Indian descent, remembers the struggles of her parents and gives back to the community as a volunteer attorney with CASA or by hosting pro bono clinics sponsored by her law firm.  With more than six years of experience contributing to legal initiatives on behalf of immigration law firms, hospitals and the federal government, Ms. Sequeira has a reputation for being a lawyer who goes the distance to get the best possible outcome for clients and deliver “winning immigration strategies.”  Ms. Sequeira has successfully represented individuals and corporations before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, The Administrative Appeals Office, Immigration Court, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.  Ms. Sequeira received her J.D. degree from the American University, Washington College of Law.  She earned her B.S. degree in Biology with a minor in Criminal Justice from American University.  Ms. Sequeira is admitted to practice law before the New York and District of Columbia Bars.  She is a member of the Federal Bar Association.
